Ready to dip your toes into learning about water and the Chihuahua Desert? Join El Paso Water’s TecH2O team and featured guest Willie the Water Drop for the Water Festival from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Sept. 14 at the TecH2O Learning Center. Families are invited to join the fun at the free event, which will be a celebration of water through art, music, activities and games.

Inspired by the newly released badge from the TecH2O’s Conservation team, nine Girl Scouts – from ages 4 to 10 – recently filed into El Paso Water's TecH2O Learning Center. The girls were primed for a morning lesson on the Chihuahuan Desert region’s most precious resource – water.

Thanks to a small army of volunteers, El Paso Water’s TecH2O team is successfully spreading the word on the importance of water conservation. A total of 30 volunteers – 14 of them veterans – frequently assist Conservation Team members with presentations, events and field trip visits, as well as preparing educational materials throughout the year.

When El Paso Water's TecH2O and La Nube launched the Water is Life art contest earlier this year, what resulted was a new crop of young artists using their art, photography and video to encourage conservation.
